Harry, the 'Spare' one/ Harry, el príncipe de respuesto

Have you read the recently published book by the prince of the UK, Harry, Spare? I was considering reading it but once I have listened to some of the reviews posted online, I believe that there is no use wasting money on that. Have you heard any of the opinions that you can find on Youtube? What are your thoughts on this?

To begin with, according to some reviews, the title of the book is already saying a lot about the content of this personal book. To be more specific, Harry has clearly stated that he feels like the spare one, meaning that his only role in this life is to be there just in case the future king of England, his brother William, passes away. In light of this view, I understand why Harry reckons that he is kind of useless, but I firmly consider that he has to wake up and have a normal life like the rest of us do but with the privilege of having a royal and rich family.

On the other hand, apparently in the book Harry complains a great deal about the fact that when he and his big brother were young, William didn’t want to be seen with him by his friends. In other words, he wanted to be on his own with his pals, something that Harry claims is an awful thing to do when it comes to siblings. Nevertheless, to be honest, it is quite normal between brothers and sisters to wish to be left alone playing with your own friends, without being annoyed by your little sibling. It is what kids do.

Finally, from my point of view, Harry writes about loads of private and hurtful matters about his family, things that frankly speaking he could have kept them in, since society doesn’t need to read about them. All in all, even though his family is the most known one worldwide, they deserve to have a little bit of intimacy as any human family does, don’t you think?

¿Has leído el libro recientemente publicado por el príncipe de Reino Unido, Harry, Spare? Yo estaba considerando leerlo pero una vez que he escuchado alguna de las críticas que ha recibido en Internet, creo que no merece mucho la pena gastarse dinero en él. ¿Has oído alguna de las opiniones publicadas en Youtube? ¿Qué opinas?

Para empezar, según algunas de las valoraciones, el título ya dice mucho sobre el contenido de este libro tan personal. Para ser más específicos, Harry afirma claramente que se siente como el príncipe de repuesto (spare en español), queriendo decir que su único papel en esta vida es existir en caso de que el futuro rey de Inglaterra, su hermano Guillermo, fallezca. Teniendo esto en cuenta, entiendo por qué Harry se considera a sí mismo como un ser inútil, pero en mi opinion, lo que tiene que hacer es espabilar y vivir una vida normal como hacemos el resto, aunque eso sí, con una familia rica y famosa. 

Por otro lado, aparentemente en este libro Harry se queja muchímismo sobre el hecho de que cuando él y su hermano eran pequeños, Guillermo no quería que sus amigos le viesen con él. En otra palabras, quería estar a su bola con sus amigos, algo que Harry denuncia como un acto terrible de su hermano. No obstante, para ser honestos, es bastante normal entre hermanos y hermanas desear tener tus propios amigos y no ser molestado por tu hermano pequeño. Es lo que hacen los niños. 

Finalmente, desde mi punto de vista, Harry escribe sobre una gran cantidad de cosas íntimas e hirientes sobre su familia, sobre cosas que en verdad  sobran en un libro. Y es que la sociedad no necesita leer sobre estas intimidades, ya que, con todo, aunque su familia sea una de las más famosas en el munto entero, merece un poco de privacidad como toda familia humana, ¿no crees?
